Estate Planning

Inheritance, estate taxes and asset protection are issues that have a direct impact on a family’s quality of life. At Wall Street Alliance Group we take a team approach towards finding innovative solutions for our clients. We work together with estate planning attorneys who provide assistance in areas including but not limited to:

Last Will

If there is no Will the state will decide how the assets in the estate will be distributed upon death. The only way to make sure your wishes are carried out is to write a will and keep it up-to-date.

Living Will

Power of Attorney: a power of attorney enables you to appoint someone you trust to handle key financial and legal matters on your behalf if you are unable to make decisions for yourself.

Health Care Proxy: When a patient is incapable of making her own medical decisions, a health-care proxy can act on the patient's behalf to make decisions according to the patient's stated will.

Revocable Trust

Even if there is a will the estate will go through a probate process which could be time consuming and costly. Revocable Trusts are usually set up to eliminate probate.

Irrevocable Trust

At death anything over $5.6 million will be subject to estate taxes which could be as high as 50%. Irrevocable Trusts eliminate estate taxes and probate as well as provide asset protection.
